Merchant Acquiring Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee merchant acquiring operations and payment methods;

• Track financial transactions and pinpoint discrepancies;

• Conduct operational and financial analyses pertaining to card and electronic payments;

• Cultivate relationships with acquirers, sub-acquirers, and financial partners;

• Facilitate financial reconciliation processes;

• Generate management reports and performance metrics;

• Spot opportunities for enhancing operational processes;

• Aid in resolving incidents and liaise with relevant departments;

• Ensure adherence to card brand regulations and internal policies;

• Engage in projects related to the advancement of payment products and solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in the merchant acquiring or payments sector.

• Familiarity with credit, debit, and PIX transactions.

• Understanding of the capture and authorization process.

• Knowledge of ISO 8583 protocol and/or transactional communication.

• Acquainted with POS terminals, TEF, and capture solutions.

• Experience in analyzing and managing operational incidents.

• Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving skills.

• Understanding of PCI certifications and payment security standards.

• Awareness of card brand certifications and release procedures.

• Experience with terminal and capture application certification/homologation.

• Familiarity with card brands such as Visa, Mastercard, Elo, and American Express.

• Proficient with monitoring tools and log analysis.

• Basic SQL skills for querying.

• Experience in homologation, pilot, and rollout projects.

• Knowledge of the EMV protocol.

• Experience with integrations between payment applications and commercial automations.

• Technical English proficiency for reading documentation and specifications.
