Mental Health Therapist, Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Perform diagnostic evaluations and collaboratively create evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Facilitate individual psychotherapy sessions through secure telehealth platforms.

• Assist Members dealing with a diverse array of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties, while also being flexible to support those with substance use disorders when necessary.

• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation within our electronic medical record (EMR) system. Affect provides an AI-powered clinical scribe to aid in documentation, minimizing administrative tasks and enabling clinicians to concentrate more on member care.

• Coordinate care as required and contribute to a nurturing, multidisciplinary environment.

• Engage in clinical team meetings and optional case consultations.

• Comply with HIPAA regulations and all relevant state licensure requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess an active and verifiable license from one of the following North Carolina credentials: LMFT, LCSW, LCMHC, LPC, as well as your state of residence if it is outside North Carolina. All credentials must be validated through the State Board’s website during the application process.

• Previous experience in providing psychotherapy in outpatient, private practice, or telehealth environments.

• Excellent communication and clinical abilities with a person-centered, trauma-informed approach.

• Proficiency with EMRs, Google Suite or Microsoft Office, and telehealth technologies.

• Capability to operate independently in a remote setting while upholding professionalism and integrity.
