Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assisting clients in California

• Enabling therapists to operate at the highest level of their license with the support of a clinical care team

• Offering psychosocial support and education necessary to address the mental wellbeing of individuals, couples, and families aged 13 and above

• Providing evidence-based care along with access to assessment and treatment planning tools

• Encouraging career advancement and professional growth within the organization

• Engaging in comprehensive training, development, and support

⛳️ Requirements

• Current, active, and unrestricted State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

• Demonstrated excellence in diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills using evidence-based methods, including but not limited to motivational interviewing, problem-solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy

• Proven exceptional interpersonal and teamwork abilities

• Experience with or a willingness to learn and adapt to virtual therapy delivery

• Strong understanding of the psychosocial factors associated with illness and health

• Proficient in technology and comfortable utilizing electronic health record systems while engaging across multiple platforms

• Knowledge of insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare billing requirements

• Evidence of robust crisis intervention skills

• Previous experience in a mental health clinic or hospital setting

• Completed a Master’s degree program from an accredited college or university

• Must hold a valid California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
