Mental Health Licensed Therapist, 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional and innovative tele-therapy to Headspace patients using a HIPAA compliant video conferencing platform.

• Finalize, sign, and securely lock clinical case notes in the EMR within 48 hours following a session. Completion of notes is included in the session rate, and additional time for note-taking should generally not be billed.

• Maintain a personalized database to document proof of licensure, license updates, expiration dates, and personal information.

• Keep your availability calendar current.

• Communicate regularly with clinical leadership by checking work emails promptly and responding within 24 hours, even on non-working days.

• Collaborate with a care team that includes health coaches, fellow therapists, psychiatrists, and external care providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Available to conduct at least 5 sessions per week, with the capacity to increase availability as needed.

• Flexibility to work nights and weekends is an advantage.

• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, etc., and experience with measurement-based care.

• Knowledge, skill, and dedication to providing culturally responsive care.

• Capability and willingness to perform concurrent documentation, as the session rate compensates for both care delivery and note-taking.

• Openness and confidence in integrating advanced technology into all aspects of care.

• Familiarity, comfort, and confidence with care delivery technology, including various applications, tech tools, Google web apps, video conferencing, EMR, etc. **Tech-savviness is essential.**

• A secure location with a reliable internet connection to provide Zoom-based psychotherapy.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing clinical psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families.

• Experience in risk management and handling higher acuity cases.

• Valid LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, LCPC, LPCC, or LPC credentials.

• An independent clinical license to practice in good standing (without the need for clinical supervision).

• BC-TMH credential, if required by the state of licensure.
