Member Services Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.

📋 Description

• Exhibits strong customer service abilities while making outbound calls and handling inbound calls from clients.

• Engages in negotiations for account resolution and meticulously records actions in the collection systems.

• Ensures customer contact information is current in the collections systems.

• May assist with other queues to promote collaboration within the department.

• Escalates issues and supports team members with calls as necessary.

• Acts as a resource and subject matter expert, potentially providing training to colleagues.

• May be tasked with reaching out to customers externally and could undertake advanced loss prevention tasks.

• Reviews the Month to Date (MTD) reports submitted by clubs for accuracy.

• Conducts a daily review of ABC regarding previous day dues collections and all club entries.

• Manages all refunds from ABC and Point of Sale (POS), ensuring accuracy through thorough research of club refunds.

• Supervises third-party collections and all necessary communication with clubs from Swift.

• Serves as a liaison between ABC and the Club Operations Managers.

• Provides timely, responsive, and courteous communication for all member inquiries, questions, concerns, and needs.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Advanced telephone and communication skills.

• Strong time management abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent follow-through and meticulous documentation skills.

• Attention to detail with the capacity to multi-task and meet deadlines independently.

• Strong problem-solving, research, resolution, and data analysis capabilities.

• High School diploma or GED is required.

• A 4-year college degree is preferred.

• 1-4 years of administrative experience.

• Prior experience in collection dues is preferred.

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
