Member of Technical Staff – Telecom & Modem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop parsers and conduct analyses for modem traces, including DIAG, QMI, QXDM/QCAT, modem ramdumps, and crash logs.

• Correlate identified failures to their root causes across NAS, RRC, and L1/L2, as well as the RIL/radio HAL interface within Android.

• Articulate the cellular-stack rationale that the platform employs to facilitate remediations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of pertinent engineering experience.

• Extensive experience with modems or basebands, including bringup, debugging, or protocol-stack development.

• Proficiency in DIAG/QMI, QXDM/QCAT, and interpreting modem crash dumps.

• Familiarity with the behavior of 4G/5G NAS, RRC, and lower-layer protocols.

• Expertise in IMS/VoLTE/VoNR debugging, including SIP/IMS signaling and issues related to carrier fields.

• Comfortable working at the RIL/radio HAL interface.

• Skilled in using CLI-based AI coding tools such as Claude Code (or similar) for daily tasks.
