Member of Technical Staff, Applied AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Equip the product with instrumentation so that every investigation, particularly those corrected by humans, transforms into structured training data.

• Create the evaluation harness to ensure diagnostic accuracy; root-cause correctness must be quantified rather than estimated.

• Condense costly deep-investigation processes into compact, finely-tuned models that maintain quality standards at a significantly reduced cost.

• Implement inference capabilities, including on-premise and air-gapped SLMs, for clients whose logs must remain within their environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of applicable engineering experience.

• Experience with production ML systems from start to finish: data pipelines, fine-tuning, evaluation, and deployment.

• Practical experience in fine-tuning and distillation using open-weight models (Qwen, Llama-class).

• Design of evaluation harnesses for tasks sensitive to correctness, including trajectory-level evaluations for agentic and tool-use systems.

• Deployment and scaling of inference (vLLM or similar) on managed platforms.

• Skilled in daily operations with CLI-based AI coding tools such as Claude Code (or an equivalent).
