This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct outbound communications with patients and healthcare professionals regarding medications, adherence, and resolution of barriers.
• Evaluate, investigate, and address prescription and adherence challenges.
• Engage with healthcare professionals concerning patient medications.
• Support patients with medication refills, synchronization, and requests for 90-day supplies.
• Document and assist in medication adherence prescription requests and requirements.
• Oversee the prescription submission process, including pharmacy processing, insurance adjudication, error resolution, packaging, and dispensing.
• Adhere to medication adherence workflows for enrollment and delivery of medication regimens.
• Ensure accuracy and review of prescription processing tasks prior to dispensing.
• Achieve targets and daily outreach goals set by leadership through phone, email, and mail communications.
• Offer feedback and proposals to enhance the medication adherence experience for patients and clients.
• Assist with training clinical staff involved in Part D HEDIS measures.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned at the discretion of the manager.
• Fundamental understanding of standard medication adherence practices, protocols, techniques, functions, and processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal, telephone communication, written, verbal, listening, and pharmaceutical calculation abilities.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent time-management skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Customer service-oriented mindset; capacity to remain patient, calm, and empathetic in challenging situations.
• Proficient in active listening, accurately responding to patient inquiries, and providing effective solutions.
• Capable of making sound decisions and conducting follow-ups for complex issues.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential patient, departmental, and company information with discretion.
• Competence in interacting with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as database and presentation software.
• Willingness to travel locally, regionally, divisionally, or domestically up to 10% of the time.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required, or additional experience beyond the minimum may be considered in lieu of required education on a year-for-year basis.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician or Medication Assistant with at least 6 months of relevant work experience, OR a minimum of 2 years of experience in a medication dispensing/pharmacy setting or call center.
