• Manage a team of medical writers, providing line management.
• Offer weekly resource oversight and guidance.

• Conduct annual and ad-hoc performance evaluations for all team members.
• Supervise each employee's time management and utilization.
• Consistently reinforce the company's values and purpose to foster a shared sense of values, mission, and vision.
• Engage in management-level activities at Trilogy.
• Participate in business development initiatives, including giving presentations or workshops on behalf of Trilogy, attending management meetings to discuss strategic advancements, or representing Trilogy in client meetings.
• Additionally, continue to contribute to client projects while managing a reduced writing workload to facilitate these management responsibilities.
• At least 2 years of experience managing a team of medical writers in a line-management capacity.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in medical regulatory writing within a pharmaceutical, biotech, or CRO setting.
• Proven expertise as a Lead Medical Writer on various regulatory documents/writing projects, including complex, multi-document projects involving global, multinational teams such as submission dossiers or responses to regulatory authorities.
• Experience in managing and coordinating project-level activities, including resource oversight, collaboration with other writers and quality control, as well as employing systematic methods for task planning and personnel coordination.
• Experience conducting cost/benefit analyses to inform decision-making (e.g. regarding resource allocation, conflict resolution, etc.).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to guide and influence both internal and external stakeholders, strong decision-making capabilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Competitive base salary (starting at $165,000 CAD; based on experience level and the Company’s compensation policies).
