This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Oversee the regional medical strategy and plan KOL engagement, ensuring coherence with global and regional goals.
β’ Interact with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders to convey complex scientific and clinical information accurately, fairly, and balanced.
β’ Establish and sustain robust relationships with premier academic institutions, societies, and oncology networks.
β’ Assist in the creation of French-language medical communications and scientific materials specifically for Quebec.
β’ Work closely with Quebec sales representatives to ensure alignment in medical and scientific initiatives in the field.
β’ Serve as a liaison with Health Canada and INESSS regarding pertinent medical and scientific issues.
β’ Organize and engage in advisory board meetings, investigator-initiated studies, and various medical engagement initiatives.
β’ Create and present medical education programs and training sessions for both internal field teams and external stakeholders.
β’ Offer medical and scientific assistance to cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Market Access, and Business Development.
β’ Track and analyze emerging clinical data, therapeutic trends, and competitor activities to guide medical strategy.
β’ Represent the organization at national and international congresses, symposia, and other professional gatherings; summarize key insights and report field intelligence.
β’ Ensure that all communications and interactions adhere to regulatory standards and company policies.
β’ Contribute to scientific publications, abstracts, and presentations.
β’ Advanced degree in a relevant scientific or healthcare field (MSc, PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent).
β’ At least 5 years of experience in oncology within medical affairs or as a Medical Science Liaison.
β’ Demonstrated ability to cultivate and sustain relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders.
β’ Experience in supporting clinical studies and investigator-initiated research initiatives.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of Canadian regulatory and compliance standards.
β’ Outstanding communication and presentation skills in both English and French (bilingual proficiency required).
β’ Capacity to interpret and effectively communicate intricate clinical and scientific data.
β’ Strong organizational and project management abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
β’ Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook) and CRM tools.
β’ Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable, with the capability to independently manage multiple priorities.
β’ Remote-based position.
β’ Provincial in-person travel is necessary.
β’ Occasional national and international travel required.
β’ Fluency in both English and French is mandatory.
