Medical Science Liaison, MSL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• The MSL is tasked with scientifically engaging, collaborating, and aligning with a diverse range of external stakeholders to meet identified patient needs and ultimately enhance the practice of medicine for improved patient access and outcomes.

• MSLs utilize the appropriate evidence at the optimal time during their scientific interactions, identifying medical intelligence and opportunities that influence and inform medical scientific communication, data generation plans, launch excellence roadmaps, patient journeys, and medical strategies.

• Collaborating with health systems, MSLs identify external medical intelligence, data gaps, and opportunities for data generation (including real-world evidence and implementation science, precision medicine, and research partnerships), as well as key unmet needs and opportunities to enhance patient access and outcomes.

• In partnership with clinical research colleagues, the role supports the clinical trial process, which includes, but is not limited to, recommending research sites, managing Investigator relationships, and providing medical expertise as needed.

• Capable of developing personalized and flexible engagement strategies and plans, leveraging multiple channels and customized content to adapt to the evolving needs of external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years of MSL or relevant industry experience, specifically with CAR T launch experience and comprehensive knowledge of hematologic malignancies.

• An Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical degree is required.

• Pharm.D., PhD, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or an Advanced Practice Provider (MSN/Nurse Practitioner or MS/Physician Assistant), or another terminal degree in health/life sciences is preferred.

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing combined with at least 5 years of experience in patient care and/or clinical research focused on hematologic malignancies, along with 5 years of relevant industry experience centered on CAR T therapies.
