This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Proactively establish, cultivate, and sustain robust relationships with academic and community physicians by enhancing awareness and acceptance of Veracyte’s Prosigna Breast Cancer test.

• Identify key opinion leaders (KOLs), stimulate investigator-initiated studies, and provide support throughout the study lifecycle and article publication process.

• Deliver customized presentations to external healthcare professionals (HCPs) at the request of sales team members.

• Assist the medical affairs team in gathering real-world evidence that supports the clinical relevance of Veracyte’s tests.

• Develop and execute strategies that promote product enhancements in collaboration with medical affairs, research and development, managed care, and sales teams.

• Conduct thorough literature reviews and create educational materials for the benefit of external HCPs and internal stakeholders.

• Act as a primary scientific and clinical resource for marketing and sales team members, providing medical updates, journal clubs, and MSL office hours.

• Support the managed care team in establishing applications for insurance coverage by supplying current scientific and clinical information that underlines the clinical utility of Veracyte’s tests.

• Provide conference coverage for the sales team and prepare a post-conference summary of pertinent discussions for the leadership team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Terminal scientific and/or clinical degree – Ph.D., M.D., Pharm.D., or D.O.

• A minimum of 5 years of clinical or industry experience, ideally with a focus on oncology.

• In-depth knowledge of the peer-review publication process.

• Advanced comprehension of the genetic underpinnings of diseases and modern genomic techniques is essential for success in this position.

• Previous experience as an MSL in the introduction and support of novel diagnostic assays is preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex study results to audiences with varying levels of scientific and clinical expertise.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to understand HCP needs and adapt content and communication style in real-time.

• Collaborative team player, working seamlessly with marketing and sales team members to provide accurate, comprehensive, and timely scientific and clinical support.

• Demonstrated customer-centric approach and a passion for patient advocacy.

• Familiarity with statistical methodologies.

• A detail-oriented, organized self-starter with a strong capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Must be located near an airport hub and possess the ability to travel within the designated region.
