This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.
• Build a reputable presence for PharmaEssentia within the medical community.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with medical professionals, thought leaders, and treatment advocates.
• Collaborate and support the development of key regional opinion leaders across diverse customer segments (such as community clinics, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and academic centers).
• Deliver high-quality medical and scientific support/communications to both internal and external stakeholders (e.g., advisory board meetings, regional training courses/workshops in conjunction with KOL/ROL, providing assistance to speakers with presentations and literature research).
• Lead medical education initiatives (including disease statements, guidelines, and product information following FDA approval).
• Oversee studies and ensure that proposals align with both local and global medical objectives within PharmaEssentia.
• Ensure that study projects align with commercial goals.
• Maintain a high level of scientific and technical expertise in hematology, oncology, and blood disorders.
• Enhance and expand knowledge of medical literature.
• Prepare and deliver critical reviews of scientific publications and congresses for both internal and external audiences.
• Complete required documentation to ensure the preservation of knowledge (e.g., CRM reports).
• Utilize necessary tools to develop and track strategic measures (project plans).
• Write and ensure the timely submission of locally relevant abstracts at congresses.
• Provide cross-functional support for Market Access and other Medical Affairs initiatives.
• Monitor competitor activities and changes in the marketplace.
• Advanced Degree Required (PhD, PharmD, or MD).
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a field medical/MSL role.
• Extensive knowledge of general medicine, particularly in hematology, oncology, or interferons.
• Familiarity with planning and conducting scientific studies and clinical trials.
• Capability to develop and maintain relationships with key thought leaders.
• Proficiency in introducing disease states to the KOL community and articulating complex programs.
• Development of product knowledge and understanding of the company and its scientific foundations.
• Exceptional writing and oral communication skills (including presentations).
• Strong networking abilities (including internal teams).
• Timely completion of objectives with high-quality outcomes.
• Skills in project planning and execution.
• Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Proactive approach to addressing team issues (“roll up your sleeves attitude”).
• Ability to maintain collaborative relationships within a dynamic team context.
