Medical Science Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain scientific relationships with oncology healthcare providers and key opinion leaders (KOLs) within a specified territory.

• Provide precise, balanced, and clinically pertinent education regarding Natera’s oncology molecular diagnostics and clinical data.

• Implement territory plans that align with Medical Affairs priorities with efficiency and adaptability.

• Identify and relay field insights, including trends in oncology treatment, unmet clinical needs, and competitive dynamics.

• Address unsolicited medical inquiries promptly, in a compliant and scientifically rigorous manner.

• Assist in the execution of Medical Affairs initiatives, such as advisory boards and medical education programs.

• Maintain expert knowledge of oncology disease states, clinical data, and the evolving landscape of diagnostics.

• Collaborate across teams within commercial and clinical functions to ensure organizational alignment for patient care while preserving absolute scientific integrity.

• Ensure that all field activities comply strictly with company policies and external healthcare regulations.

• Aid in coordinating clinical trial and research initiatives at academic institutions and regional study sites.

• Take ownership of field execution by accurately tracking territory engagement and documenting actionable clinical insights.

• Travel 60-70% of the time across the territory for clinical engagement and conferences.

• Quickly adapt to emerging scientific and clinical needs within the oncology portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced healthcare or scientific degree is preferred (Ph.D., Pharm.D., M.D., D.N.P.), with a minimum requirement of a Master's degree.

• Previous experience in Medical Affairs or as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in oncology or molecular diagnostics is preferred.

• Must reside within the designated territory.
