This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Sales Manager to achieve joint territory objectives through the effective adoption and informed clinical application of Karius tests.
• Provide clinical and scientific knowledge during customer interactions to stimulate demand, eliminate adoption barriers, and position Karius tests as essential diagnostic tools.
• Design and present tailored presentations (such as Grand Rounds, ASP meetings, M&M discussions, dinner programs, etc.) utilizing peer-reviewed literature, published case studies, and approved Karius resources to engage a variety of stakeholders.
• Interact with diverse stakeholders (including physicians, pharmacists, nurses, lab directors, and infection control specialists) to identify advocates, influence decision-making, and facilitate the integration of tests into clinical workflows and protocols.
• Collaborate with marketing and training teams to determine content requirements, create compelling messaging, and enhance tools based on real-world feedback and clinical insights.
• Establish and expand Centers of Excellence by assisting sites in achieving optimal clinical utilization of Karius tests, subsequently using those models to encourage wider market adoption.
• Collect and communicate field insights that inform commercial strategy, product positioning, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Remain updated on clinical and scientific advancements in infectious disease diagnostics and convert these insights into practical strategies for field teams and clients.
• Represent Karius at conferences and professional gatherings to enhance brand visibility, foster customer relationships, and gather feedback from influential figures in the field.
• Advanced Clinical Degree Required (PA-C, NP, or PharmD, MD/DO).
• Demonstrable clinical experience as a healthcare provider or clinical pharmacist is required.
• Clinical experience in hematology/oncology, infectious disease, transplant, or intensive care is preferred.
• Knowledge of infectious disease treatment and management is required.
• Familiarity with microbiology/virology and common diagnostic methods (PCR, culture techniques, serologies) is required.
• Understanding of medical and laboratory structure and hierarchy is necessary.
• Experience in sales is a plus.
• Knowledge of laboratory workflow and fiscal operations is an advantage.
• Familiarity with cfDNA technology is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
