This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and present medical equipment design packages for healthcare capital projects in both government and private sectors.
• Assist and collaborate with project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle by supplying equipment information and deliverables.
• Contribute to project staffing, development of work plans, deliverables, deadlines, and status updates.
• Foster communication networks among clients, facility managers, project teams, architects, engineers, construction managers, consultants, and vendors.
• Keep track of open-item and action-item lists, follow up on resolutions, and coordinate decisions regarding medical equipment.
• Collaborate with BIM design teams concerning the locations and placement of medical equipment.
• Lead and engage in both on-site and remote design meetings, while also preparing meeting minutes.
• Create design submittals, specifications, ASE files, vendor cut sheets and drawings, installation guides, and operation and maintenance manuals.
• Engage in inventory management, equipment evaluation, cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, vendor presentations, site visits, and pricing negotiations.
• Strategically plan equipment room by room using proprietary or industry-standard software.
• Conduct quality assurance to identify and resolve conflicts in medical equipment design.
• Secure client approval and sign-off for chosen equipment.
• Assist in proposal development, complete payroll and expense reports, and carry out other assigned tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or a clinical area of expertise.
• Minimum of 5+ years in medical equipment planning or relevant project experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capable of interacting with employees and clients at all organizational levels.
• Proficient in multitasking and communicating effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with architectural design processes and documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural programming, design, scheduling, and specification documents.
• Willingness to attend site visits at various project stages.
• Experience in leading or participating in client meetings.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Travel is a requirement.
• Capability to meet physical demands, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, gripping, reading screens, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Local presence in Denver is preferred.
• Experience with both DoD and private-sector work is preferred.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam software is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Revit design software is preferred.
• Strong leadership understanding and mentoring/coaching skills for junior staff.
