Medical Director – Obesity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Act as the subject matter authority for our products and associated data within a specific Therapeutic Area.

• Collaborate with essential stakeholders across CMR, Marketing, and the Global organization to facilitate scientific dialogue and communication.

• Support the Sr. Medical Director in formulating and implementing strategic initiatives within a therapeutic area.

• Chair the Core Medical Team, Project Team (as co-chair), and National Advisory Board meetings for a Therapeutic Area.

• Aid in devising strategies to effectively position the Brand as part of the Novo Nordisk portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD, DO, PhD, or PharmD is mandatory.

• At least 5 years of combined experience in clinical, research, or pharmaceutical settings is required.

• Experience in the relevant therapeutic area (obesity) is highly preferred.

• Strong strategic mindset with an understanding of market demands, resource allocation, etc.

• Solid tactical knowledge regarding the design, management, and evaluation of clinical trials and other MA tools.

• Subspecialty training in the relevant therapeutic area is preferred.
