Medical Device and Diagnostics Partner – Commercial and Operational Contracting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Offer legal advice and assistance on commercial and operational agreements.

• Partner with clients in the medical devices and diagnostics industries to ensure adherence to regulations.

• Oversee multiple legal issues concurrently while providing strategic advice and risk evaluation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote contract negotiations and compliance structures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10+ years in corporate legal practice, including experience as an in-house attorney, serving as General Counsel and/or in another senior in-house legal capacity, along with 3+ years of training at a law firm.

• Substantial legal expertise as a comprehensive corporate generalist.

• Proven track record as a practical, business-oriented, and responsive legal partner.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a nationally accredited law school.

• Membership in the state bar of the state where you reside or practice.

• Extensive in-house legal experience at a medical device, diagnostics, or IVD company, particularly where regulatory or quality requirements influence commercial agreements and operational processes.

• Strong expertise in commercial and operational contracting.

• Experience supporting product, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.

• Capability to handle a high volume of matters while exercising sound risk judgment.

• Familiarity with global distribution and cross-border commercial frameworks.

• Background in establishing or supporting operational processes and compliance frameworks driven by contracts.
