Medical Case Reviewer – Injury & Vaccine Compensation Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Examine medical case files, including petitions, medical records, affidavits, depositions, and other supporting documents.

• Evaluate the sufficiency of information and assess the probability of causation utilizing medical principles and literature.

• Draft written reports and provide recommendations for legal and administrative teams.

• Collaborate with medical experts, team leaders, and attorneys as required.

• Engage in case presentations and consensus-building discussions.

• Ensure adherence to records management, HIPAA regulations, and confidentiality protocols.

• If necessary, offer testimony in legal proceedings (travel expenses will be reimbursed according to federal travel guidelines).

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from a recognized institution.

• Current, full, and unrestricted U.S. medical license.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical practice or case review.

• Excellent writing and analytical skills.

• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in a relevant biomedical or clinical field OR an advanced degree (e.g., NP, PA, RN).

• At least 3 years of experience in conducting medical case reviews/evaluations.

• Skilled in medical research, literature analysis, and report composition.

• Preferred Specialties: Pediatrics, Immunology, Neurology, Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine, Epidemiology, Rheumatology, and related areas.
