This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.
• Carry out accurate billing processes for senior care providers in the U.S., ensuring correct reimbursement in Assisted Living, Hospice, and RCFE environments.
• Submit and monitor claims for U.S. Medicare/Medicaid and private insurance payers.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to claim rejections, underpayments, and coding inaccuracies (ICD-10, CPT).
• Work in collaboration with clinical teams to ensure that service documentation complies with billing standards.
• Create statements, manage payment processing, and respond to patient inquiries.
• Aid in producing AR aging reports and conducting reconciliation audits.
• Availability to work during Pacific Time hours (California), Monday through Friday.
• At least 2 years of medical billing experience within the U.S. healthcare sector (experience in senior care settings such as ALFs, Hospice, and RCFEs is highly preferred).
• Expertise in U.S. Medicare/Medicaid billing regulations and familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
• Mandatory experience with U.S.-based payers and reimbursement protocols.
• Understanding of California-specific billing laws is a significant advantage.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• A high school diploma is required; AAPC certification (e.g., CPC, CPB) is an added benefit.
• Compensation includes a base salary of $500, along with the potential for a monthly performance bonus of up to 20%.
