Medical Assistant, Vietnamese-Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee and evaluate patient vital signs and assessments within Welby Health’s platform

• Assist care managers in the implementation and upkeep of personalized care plans

• Accurately and thoroughly document patient interactions in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams to streamline follow-up tasks and operational necessities

• Act as a communication bridge between patients and providers to ensure patients comprehend instructions, remain engaged, and follow their care plans

• Provide patient education, ongoing advice, and general assistance through phone and secure messaging

• Empower patients to take charge of chronic conditions and cultivate sustainable health habits

⛳️ Requirements

• Current and valid medical assistant (MA) certification in good standing

• Between two (2) to five (5) years of direct patient care experience in medical-surgical or home health settings

• Proficient in verbal and written Vietnamese

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

• Capability to work autonomously in a remote, technology-driven environment

• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and follow-through

• Experience in case management, chronic care management, and/or telehealth (preferred)

• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities (preferred)

• Knowledge of remote physiological monitoring, electronic medical record (EMR) or electronic health record (EHR) systems, and patient engagement tools (preferred)
