Medical Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Foster advocacy for company products and research initiatives among Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), which include physicians, prominent academic institutions, professional associations, patient advocacy organizations, hospital administration, and payers.

• Prepare and disseminate scientific and medical information. Deliver lectures at scientific conferences. Participate in advisory boards. Conduct face-to-face KOL meetings. Execute communication efforts at both local and global congresses.

• Assist with clinical development activities, including support for ongoing and new clinical trials.

• Aid in new product launch initiatives.

• Provide responses to scientific inquiries.

• Represent the company at pertinent congresses.

• Contribute to Medical Affairs and Brand Strategy.

• Support the strategic Publication Plan.

• Facilitate internal education through clinical data communication and knowledge transfer.

• Offer scientific expertise to internal business stakeholders including Clinical Development, Research & Development, Health Economics & Reimbursement, and Sales & Marketing.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and healthcare compliance standards.

• Exceptional presentation and teaching abilities, representing the company professionally at medical, scientific, and public events.

• Independent, self-motivated, proactive, outgoing, and dynamic.

• Proficient in both German and English.

• Capability to establish relationships rapidly and demonstrate persuasive skills.

• Highly effective communicator, both verbally and in writing; adept at conveying ideas in one-on-one interactions, group settings, and presentations.

• Organized with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.

• Over 3 years of experience in a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Medical Advisor position. Experience in Oncology and rare diseases is preferred.

• Educational background: PhD, MD, or PharmD.
