Mechanical Drafter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Work Set-up and Location: Remote Work from Home (WFH)

• Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM AEDT | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM PHT

• This role entails comprehensive responsibilities for the support, design, and development of both new and existing products.

• The Draftsman/Mechanical Engineer participates in every facet of the product development lifecycle and manages all details pertinent to assigned projects.

• Oversee personal workflow across various time zones, ensuring prompt responses and effective communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in detailed drafting of mechanical components and assemblies.

• Capable of generating, updating, and maintaining DraftSight 2D files as well as SolidWorks models, assemblies, parts, and drawings.

• Experience in mechanical system design and development, including pumps, hydraulic flow systems, piping, and structural components.

• Skilled in performing testing simulations and troubleshooting designs using virtual tools.

• Responsible for preparing accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and related MRP documentation.

• Ability to specify equipment and materials that meet project requirements.

• Independently design mechanical components and systems.

• Prepare comprehensive drawing packs for review and approval.

• Produce and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings in compliance with Australian standards using SolidWorks and DraftSight.

• Provide support for projects/products transitioning into production through detailed documentation and remote assistance.
