This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, configure, develop, and provide support for IBM Master Data Management / Match 360 solutions.
• Set up entity-resolution and record-matching processes.
• Create deterministic, probabilistic, and rule-based matching strategies.
• Configure matching algorithms, thresholds, weights, and comparison functions.
• Design and maintain master-data models along with entity relationships.
• Implement processes for duplicate detection, record linking, merging, and unmerging.
• Develop and configure survivorship rules and processes for trusted-record creation.
• Establish and maintain golden/master records.
• Configure rules for data standardization, validation, cleansing, and matching.
• Analyze data anomalies, duplicates, false positives, and false negatives.
• Fine-tune matching algorithms to enhance entity-resolution accuracy.
• Develop and support MDM APIs, interfaces, and data services.
• Support both batch and real-time master-data processing.
• Implement workflows for data stewardship and exception management.
• Contribute to master-data governance and data-quality initiatives.
• Troubleshoot issues related to MDM processing, matching, data quality, and applications.
• Conduct data analysis and reconciliation to verify master records.
• Collaborate with business data owners and data stewards to define master-data rules.
• Maintain documentation for data models, matching rules, survivorship rules, interfaces, and business processes.
• Over 5 years of experience in Master Data Management or enterprise data management.
• Strong practical experience with IBM MDM and/or IBM Match 360.
• Deep understanding of master-data-management concepts.
• Experience in entity resolution and record linkage.
• Proficiency in configuring both deterministic and probabilistic matching.
• In-depth knowledge of matching, merging, survivorship, and golden-record concepts.
• Experience in master-data modeling.
• Proven experience in developing and consuming APIs and data services.
• Strong skills in data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of data-quality and data-governance principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• US Citizen work authorization.
• IBM MDM certification or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Experience in the manufacturing domain is highly desirable.
