This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Take full command of the vessel, ensuring safe navigation and operational efficiency.

• Guarantee adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.

• Strategically plan and carry out voyages with optimal efficiency.

• Oversee cargo operations, which include loading, stowage, securing, and discharge processes.

• Direct the crew, implement safety protocols, and conduct regular drills.

• Manage emergency situations effectively.

• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.

• Collaborate as part of Columbia Shipmanagement's expanding and diverse fleet.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) as per STCW Regulation II/2, with verification.

• Required STCW certifications pertinent to the position.

• A minimum of 12 months in rank on a vessel of similar type and size.

• Experience working in a multicultural environment.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.

• A strong safety culture and mindset.

• Experience in trading regions such as the USA and Australia is preferred.
