Marketplace Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of key Southwest markets, focusing primarily on Arizona and Texas.

• Analyze supply and demand mismatches and identify coverage gaps throughout the Southwest regions.

• Recruit process servers, oversee dispatch strategies, and enhance server capacity.

• Build and maintain relationships with the highest-volume servers in the region as ABC Legal's representative.

• Conduct root cause analyses and provide actionable recommendations.

• Lead responses to regional incidents such as app outages, dispatch bottlenecks, weather-related disruptions, and other market challenges.

• Implement marketplace pilots, monitor outcomes, and report insights.

• Oversee regional incentive spending while adhering to budgetary constraints and partnership guidelines.

• Track regional service level objective (SLO) achievements, address coverage gaps, and assess market health.

• Provide structured insights to enhance and scale incentive programs, dispatch protocols, and payment structures.

• Collaborate with teams from the Process Server Network, Compliance, Support, and Experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience managing a local market, territory, or region in a marketplace, gig economy, or field operations context.

• Strong skills in balancing supply and demand using empirical data and real-world insights.

• At least one direct report and prior coaching experience are required.

• Willingness to engage directly in the market environment.

• Ability to translate in-market observations into clear, actionable feedback.

• Proficient in communicating market health through written reports.

• Preferred: experience in executing structured pilots or tests with defined hypotheses and scalable insights.

• Preferred: proficiency in SQL or dashboard tools, including Metabase, Looker, or Claude Code.

• Preferred: familiarity with Jira or similar issue trackers and Intercom.

• Preferred: experience working in ambiguous settings without a predefined playbook.

• Preferred: background in managing individuals in contract or hourly positions.
