This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• **Key Responsibilities:**
• Develop, validate, and maintain predictive models such as lead scoring, conversion propensity, and funnel optimization.
• Create tiering models to prioritize leads based on their likelihood of conversion.
• Establish forecasting frameworks for lead volume, conversion rates, and projections related to the pipeline or revenue.
• Construct channel performance models to enhance budget allocation across various channels like paid search, email, ISO partners, etc.
• Oversee model performance and make iterative improvements to enhance accuracy and business impact.
• Develop models to assess and prioritize markets based on anticipated performance and ROI.
• Analyze trends at the geographic, industry, and segment level to uncover growth opportunities.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for market targeting and resource distribution.
• Support campaigns and future product launches by predicting lead volume, conversion rates, and CAC by channel.
• Design and analyze experiments, including A/B testing and cohort analysis, to evaluate incremental impact.
• Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to address marketing and business challenges.
• Conduct in-depth analyses to aid strategic and operational decision-making.
• Contribute to internal data science and modeling efforts, including proprietary or internal intellectual property work.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to organize and prepare datasets for modeling purposes.
• Work alongside BI and analytics teams to ensure model outputs are incorporated into reporting and are accessible to stakeholders.
• **Required Education:**
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• **Required Experience:**
• 3 to 7 years of experience in data science, applied modeling, or advanced analytics.
• **Required Background / Industry Experience:**
• Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and validating predictive models within a business context.
• Familiarity with statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and forecasting methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to transform business challenges into analytical solutions.
• Proficiency in conveying complex analytical ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in customer acquisition cost modeling and marketing ROI analysis.
