Cyber Threat Intelligence Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Investigating phishing campaigns, credential leaks, and threat actors across open, deep, and dark web sources.

• Conducting active information-gathering operations, including infiltration and interaction within underground communities when necessary.

• Analyzing gathered intelligence data to outline actionable TTPs, IoCs, and profiles of threat actors.

• Producing impactful alerts, threat bulletins, and comprehensive reports for both technical teams and leadership.

• Identifying repetitive investigative tasks and developing smart workflows or automations to enhance team efficiency.

• Staying ahead of emerging threats, new hacking tools, and attack techniques relevant to our clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or fluent proficiency in Portuguese.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Solid experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) analysis, with an in-depth understanding of malware, phishing, social engineering, and APTs.

• Proven capability to write clear, assertive, and evidence-based intelligence reports tailored for both technical and executive audiences.

• Ability to safely navigate, monitor, and operate within dark web environments and underground forums.

• Strong written communication skills, a proactive approach to identifying security gaps, and high adaptability to rapidly changing investigative scopes.

• Bonus points if you possess:

• Proficiency or working knowledge of Spanish.

• Hands-on experience with OSINT tools such as Maltego or equivalent platforms.

• Familiarity with automation (scripting, prompt engineering, or workflow development) to minimize manual tasks.

• Knowledge of offensive security techniques or ethical hacking.

• Industry certifications such as CTIA, CISSP, CISM, or a degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science.
