Marketing and Sales Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist the Director of Corporate Marketing with sales and marketing data management efforts aimed at enhancing the quality and efficacy of customer relationship management (CRM) systems.

• Organize and coordinate meetings and interviews with Managing Directors, Sales Directors, and other internal stakeholders to assess and verify account and contact details.

• Facilitate meetings using a structured format to guarantee the collection of consistent, complete, and accurate information across all designated accounts.

• Gather, verify, and systematize customer and account data, including contact information, organizational specifics, communication preferences, and other pertinent business details.

• Input, update, and sustain Salesforce records while ensuring precision, consistency, and compliance with established data standards.

• Examine information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and follow up with stakeholders as necessary to address gaps or inquiries.

• Assist with data quality projects in HubSpot, which involves reviewing, updating, organizing, and maintaining marketing contact records and associated information.

• Aid sales enablement and marketing efforts by verifying that account and contact information is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible.

• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism while managing internal, client, account, and contact information.

• Perform additional related duties and administrative support tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a business, marketing, communications, sales, or a related degree program is preferred.

• Prior internship, coursework, or experience related to marketing, sales, business administration, data management, or customer relationship management systems is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

• Capability to learn and accurately utilize Salesforce or other customer relationship management systems.

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

• Ability to effectively take direction, ask clarifying questions, and adhere to established processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to schedule and conduct structured information-gathering meetings.

• Professional, reliable, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

• Ability to successfully pass a background check.
