Market Research Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete execution of quantitative research projects, guiding stakeholders throughout the entire research lifecycle—from survey creation and programming to data analysis, reporting, and insight formulation.

• Oversee multiple projects at once, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs, precise data processing, and timely updates on project status.

• Craft survey questionnaires that align with research goals and business inquiries.

• Implement best practices in survey design, focusing on question clarity, logical sequencing, and bias reduction.

• Utilize survey programming platforms such as Qualtrics, Decipher, or other equivalent tools.

• Perform thorough quality assurance (QA) testing to verify survey functionality and enhance respondent experience.

• Clean, validate, and prepare survey datasets for subsequent analysis.

• Produce research reports, presentations, and summaries that effectively convey key findings.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, analytics, or a similar discipline.

• Experience in designing and drafting quantitative survey questionnaires.

• Robust survey programming skills with Qualtrics, Decipher, or comparable platforms.

• Expertise in survey logic, branching, quotas, randomization, and QA testing.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, crosstabs, and data cleaning methodologies.

• Experience in analyzing extensive survey datasets.

• Familiarity with SPSS, R, or other statistical analysis software.

• Proven experience in creating research reports, presentations, and data visualizations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to data accuracy.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to engaging stakeholders and managing risks.

• Ability to work independently within established research frameworks and processes.
