This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Cultivate enduring relationships with tax and finance executives at major Fortune 250 tax credit purchasers and tax equity investors in sectors such as utilities, real estate, and industrials.
• Establish new connections for Crux through participation in conferences, networking events, outreach initiatives, partnerships, and inbound channels.
• Act as a representative of Crux, showcasing market expertise through webinars, panel discussions at conferences, and other speaking engagements.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients on developing their tax credit investment approaches.
• Collaborate with external legal and tax advisors on intricate transaction matters.
• Oversee and mentor junior professionals, ensuring their development, workflow management, and quality of execution.
• Define Crux's strategy for tax credit buyers, which includes segmentation, partnership development, and prioritization of go-to-market efforts.
• Serve as an internal authority on renewable tax credit issues.
• Lead and contribute to the development of new offerings for strategic partners.
• Promote the creation and utilization of intellectual property.
• Collaborate with product and customer success teams to enhance the benefits of the Crux technology platform for tax and finance users.
• Contribute to and foster a positive team culture.
• A minimum of 14 years of experience in tax, accounting, legal practice, and/or tax-advantaged investing.
• Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining long-term client relationships with tax and finance departments at large corporations from the ground up.
• Experience in managing and nurturing junior team members.
• Confidence and comfort with cold outreach, attending conferences, and public speaking engagements.
• Strong collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach.
• Outstanding relationship-building abilities coupled with clear communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced growth environment with considerable autonomy and flexibility.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
• Commitment to contribute to and develop a positive team culture.
• Required to hold FINRA SIE, Series 79, and Series 63, or the willingness to obtain these under Crux’s broker-dealer sponsorship.
