
Managing Consultant – Epic Revenue Cycle, Healthcare Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the implementation and enhancement of Epic revenue cycle initiatives across front-end, middle, and back-end operations.
• Offer strategic advice to clients regarding revenue cycle workflows, industry best practices, and configurations within the Epic system.
• Manage teams, project timelines, deliverables, and maintain client relationships effectively.
• Create and execute solutions that encompass Patient Access, Health Information Management (HIM), Hospital Billing (HB), Professional Billing (PB), Resolute, and associated Epic applications.
• Perform thorough evaluations of current processes and propose recommendations for future improvements.
• Guide and develop junior consultants and team members.
• Conduct workshops with client stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
• Ensure successful system go-lives and provide post-implementation support.
• Propel continuous improvement projects and achieve measurable results.
• A minimum of an Associate's degree is required (preferably in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Systems, or a related field).
• At least 7 years of experience in Epic revenue cycle roles within consulting, implementation, or leadership positions.
• Proven expertise in front-end (registration, scheduling, pre-authorization), middle (charge capture, HIM/coding), and back-end (billing, collections, denials management) revenue cycle functions.
• A successful history of managing multiple Epic implementations or optimization projects.
• Experience in leading teams and nurturing client relationships in a consulting environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Epic revenue cycle applications, including Cadence, Prelude, Revenue Guardian, Resolute Hospital Billing, Resolute Professional Billing, and related modules.
• Strong grasp of revenue cycle workflows, healthcare reimbursement, and regulatory compliance (including HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines).
• Proficiency in using Epic reporting tools such as Cogito, SlicerDicer, and Reporting Workbench.
