Manager, Total Rewards

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead the annual merit, promotion, and incentive cycles for India, including budget recommendations, market positioning, governance, and execution.

• Perform market pricing utilizing leading survey sources such as Mercer, Aon, WTW, and Korn Ferry; maintain a structured benchmarking calendar.

• Assist in refining job architecture, leveling, and salary structures for India and designated APAC/EMEA countries.

• Collaborate on Short-Term Incentive (STI) design and modeling, and support equity/Long-Term Incentive (LTI) administration where applicable.

• Create offer recommendations for senior hires in India; provide Total Rewards input on internal moves, promotions, and retention scenarios.

• Manage the design, renewal cycle, and vendor governance for benefits programs in India, including group medical, life, accident, retirement, leave, wellness, and ancillary programs.

• Oversee relationships with brokers and insurers; lead annual renewals and RFP activities in partnership with Global Total Rewards.

• Supervise day-to-day benefits operations in India, including enrollments, eligibility data, invoicing, and handling employee escalations.

• Provide design and renewal advisory for assigned APAC and select EMEA markets in collaboration with country HR partners and brokers.

• Act as the Total Rewards point of contact for assigned countries (in addition to India); deliver market intelligence, renewal advisory, and ad-hoc analysis.

• Monitor statutory and regulatory developments across covered countries and identify implications for plan design, budgets, and policies.

• Establish relationships with regional brokers, survey vendors, and consulting partners.

• Collaborate with HR Operations on the migration to Oracle HCM Cloud, defining Total Rewards data, validating compensation and benefits configuration, and supporting integrations.

• Develop and maintain Total Rewards analytics, including pay equity, range penetration, cost-of-program, and budget variance reporting.

• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documentation for compensation and benefits processes.

• Ensure that compensation and benefits practices in India and assigned countries comply with statutory requirements and internal policies, working closely with local HR, legal, and external advisors.

• Assist in M&A integration activities, including Total Rewards due diligence, harmonization, and transition planning.

• Contribute to governance materials and committee submissions for regional plan modifications.


⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive Total Rewards experience with direct accountability for compensation and benefits in India.

• Proven experience in supporting multi-country Total Rewards operations, with exposure to APAC and/or EMEA.

• Strong experience in market pricing utilizing major survey houses such as Mercer, Aon, WTW, and Korn Ferry.

• Demonstrated design and modeling experience across compensation programs, including annual cycles, STI, and leveling/structures.

• Practical benefits experience, encompassing renewal management, broker/vendor governance, and operational duties.

• Advanced Excel and analytical skills; adept at handling large data sets and modeling.

• Familiarity with Indian statutory and labor compliance frameworks affecting compensation and benefits.

• Experience with an enterprise HRIS, such as Oracle HCM, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; capable of collaborating across time zones with global, regional, and country stakeholders.
