This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.
• Evaluate, revise, and/or create processes and procedures for comprehensive site contract management within the organization at the regional level.
• Manage a team of contract and budget associates.
• Allocate resources for new business opportunities in the organization, while forecasting and planning for current and anticipated work.
• Engage in discussions regarding resource needs and strategize for the future structure of site contracts.
• Track and manage contract metrics, including the productivity of the site contract function.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contracting standards.
• Address and resolve complex issues involving legal, finance, or supervisory matters.
• Review, draft, and negotiate a range of agreements, including confidentiality agreements, master confidentiality agreements, clinical study agreements, ancillary agreements, and amendment agreements.
• Supervise the execution of agreements at the portfolio level in accordance with each study contract plan.
• Oversee the upkeep of contract files and databases, including the archiving of contracts.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and take corrective measures.
• Assist in designing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the timely execution of contracts.
• Represent the organization as a Subject Matter Expert in both internal and external meetings, including client interactions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a scientific or healthcare field.
• Experience in Site Contracts departments within Clinical Research Organizations (CRO).
• Experience negotiating clinical trial agreements with major healthcare institutions in North America.
• Proven experience in remote people management.
• Collaborate closely with Study Start Up, Clinical Operations, legal, HR, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure the Site Contracts team is equipped with all necessary tools to deliver contracts in the shortest time possible, while also playing a crucial role in aligning all other Site Contracts group deliverables with defined study timelines.
• Participation in corporate strategic initiatives for the Start Up group, such as the Oncology Site Network and Rapid Start-up, and involvement in the SSU Leadership.
