This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the implementation of reactor services projects, which encompass refueling outage support, reactor vessel inspections, maintenance of reactor internals, reactor diagnostics, and specialized field services.
• Provide expert technical guidance for reactor maintenance tasks, ensuring that all work complies with plant procedures, engineering specifications, NRC regulations, nuclear quality assurance standards, and industry best practices.
• Create project scopes, work packages, schedules, staffing plans, budgets, estimates, and execution strategies for the projects assigned.
• Track project performance, timelines, budgets, and key performance indicators to guarantee successful project outcomes.
• Assist in the development of proposals, technical estimates, bid preparations, and business development efforts for reactor service opportunities.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of project documentation, records, inspection reports, and technical documents to aid operational and business decision-making.
• Supervise and lead reactor service technicians, maintenance staff, subcontractors, and technical specialists during outage and maintenance operations.
• Guide and develop technical staff through coaching, performance evaluations, succession planning, and opportunities for professional growth.
• Promote a culture centered on nuclear safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Power Plant Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
• Over 7 years of experience in supporting reactor services, refueling outages, reactor maintenance, nuclear plant operations, or related nuclear services.
• More than 3 years of leadership or project management experience directing technical teams, executing outages, or managing field service operations.
• Strong understanding of reactor plant systems, reactor vessel components, reactor internals, primary and secondary systems, refueling operations, and nuclear maintenance protocols.
• Comprehensive knowledge of NRC regulations, 10 CFR requirements, ASME Codes, nuclear quality assurance programs, radiological control measures, and principles of nuclear safety culture.
• Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, OEM specifications, work packages, and technical procedures.
• Experience in managing complex outage projects, including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, staffing, and meeting customer expectations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to customer locations.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including extended assignments during refueling outages.
