This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Engage in a range of significant customer technical Big Data initiatives, which may involve creating reference architectures, how-to guides, and production-ready MVPs.
• Assist strategic customers in executing transformative big data projects and third-party migrations, encompassing the complete design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge big data and AI applications.
• Provide consultation on architecture and design; initiate or execute strategic customer projects that facilitate their successful comprehension, assessment, and adoption of Databricks.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Databricks Customer Support to deliver product and implementation insights, ensuring swift resolution of engagement-specific product and support challenges.
• Over 10 years of experience with Big Data Technologies, including Apache Spark™, Kafka, Cloud Native, and Data Lakes in a customer-facing post-sales, technical architecture, or consulting capacity.
• More than 4 years of experience in people management, overseeing a team of Data Engineers, Data Architects, etc.
• At least 6 years of independent experience working on Big Data Architectures.
• Familiarity with various Cloud Platforms (GCP / AWS / Azure).
• Experience with the Databricks platform is advantageous.
• Proficient documentation and whiteboarding abilities.
• Develop skills in technical areas that support the deployment and integration of Databricks-based solutions to fulfill customer projects.
• Willingness to travel for onsite customer engagements within India.
