This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the execution and promotion of enterprise data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with Data Owners, Data Stewards, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams to uphold governance controls for sensitive and regulated data.
• Advocate for data accountability and stewardship practices across various business functions.
• Define, document, and keep up-to-date critical data elements, business glossaries, and data ownership models.
• Monitor compliance with data governance standards and escalate risks or exceptions to policy.
• Aid in adherence to global privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Maintain documentation related to privacy processes, controls, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with Legal, Information Security, and Compliance teams to mitigate or resolve privacy risks and control deficiencies.
• Coordinate systems and processes that support Data Subject Rights requests.
• Maintain documentation for the DSR process, including process maps, fulfillment teams, contacts, and systems.
• Track metrics such as request volumes, response timelines, completion rates, and compliance statistics.
• Ensure DSR requests are processed accurately, consistently, and within the required regulatory timelines.
• Identify opportunities to enhance and automate the DSR fulfillment process.
• Develop centralized repositories for documentation related to privacy and governance processes.
• Facilitate regular global forums for DSR teams to discuss challenges, share best practices, regulatory updates, and explore automation opportunities.
• Identify inefficiencies in processes and recommend improvements.
• Support governance and privacy technologies that enhance transparency, efficiency, and audit readiness.
• Contribute to privacy and governance reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Advise business stakeholders on data governance and privacy obligations.
• Coordinate communication between business units, privacy teams, legal counsel, and technology teams.
• Conduct awareness and educational sessions on privacy obligations, data stewardship, and governance standards.
• Promote consistent privacy and governance practices across global teams.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Business Administration, Information Security, Legal Studies, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in Data Governance, Privacy, Compliance, Data Management, Information Security, Risk Management, or related fields; a minimum of 3 years is required.
• Experience in supporting privacy compliance programs and understanding regulatory requirements such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Preferred experience in coordinating Data Subject Rights or privacy operations processes.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks, stewardship practices, and data quality concepts.
• Experience in documenting business processes, controls, and operational procedures.
• Proven track record of working with cross-functional stakeholders across business, legal, compliance, and technology domains.
• Preferred experience in utilizing governance, privacy, workflow, or case management tools.
• Professional certifications in privacy, governance, compliance, or data management are preferred, including CIPP, CIPM, or CDMP.
• Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States currently.
• Must not require sponsorship from The Coca-Cola Company to work legally in the United States.
