This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a reliable advisor for government contractor clients throughout the contract and grant management lifecycle.
• Direct compliance and gap assessments related to FAR, DFARS, CAS, and other pertinent federal regulations.
• Assist clients in interactions with DCAA, DCMA, and various agency auditors.
• Examine solicitation clauses, contract stipulations, and award prerequisites.
• Offer support in proposal development, pricing strategies, estimation, and cost or price analysis.
• Aid in contract modifications, bid protests, requests for equitable adjustments, claims, and contract closures.
• Assist clients in formulating processes, policies, procedures, internal controls, and training programs.
• Mentor and provide professional development and performance feedback to team members.
• Cultivate relationships with executive stakeholders.
• Participate in business development and initiatives for practice growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Understanding of accounting principles.
• CPA certification preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in compliance, contract or grant management, contract administration, auditing, or related consulting work.
• Familiarity with FAR, CAS, Uniform Guidance, DFARS, or other federal regulations.
• Experience collaborating with DCAA, DCMA, and other agency auditors.
• Background in pre-award SF 1408 accounting system evaluations, business system audits, floor checks, and paid voucher reviews.
• Practical knowledge of the six DFARS Contractor Business Systems.
• Capability to assess business system effectiveness, identify weaknesses, and assist in remediation efforts.
• Experience in preparing or reviewing incurred cost submissions, provisional or forward pricing billing rates, and indirect rate structures.
• Acquaintance with FAR Part 31 cost principles, cost allowability and allocability, and CAS Disclosure Statements.
• Knowledge in pricing, cost or price analysis, requests for equitable adjustments, claims, terminations, WAWF, or IPP is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements as required, not anticipated to exceed 15% of the time.
• Must demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States.
