Manager, Data Security – Cybersecurity InfoSec

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and enhance IDEXX’s DSPM platform, encompassing configuration, integrations, operations, and ongoing improvements.

• Create transparency regarding sensitive and regulated data—its location, flow, and protection measures.

• Facilitate the reduction of excessive access privileges across Snowflake, databases, applications, and SaaS environments through enforceable controls and continual enhancement.

• Spearhead the strategy, design, and implementation of global data protection across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid settings.

• Develop and guide high-performing Data Security and DSPM teams while establishing a clear roadmap, operating model, and maturity plan for IDEXX’s data security initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, data security, data protection, or data engineering.

• 3-5+ years of leadership or managerial experience in building and overseeing technical security teams and incident response.

• Proven experience in orchestrating risk reduction programs, automated remediation, or integrating security signals into operational workflows.

• Demonstrated success in establishing security programs, standards, and operating models within complex, global environments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent professional experience.
