This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Convert intricate data into actionable insights that enhance revenue growth, margin improvement, customer engagement, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with teams across Retail, Marketing, Finance, Production, Merchandising, and Data & Analytics to identify opportunities and facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Discover avenues to boost sales, profitability, and customer retention through thorough data analysis.
• Examine customer behavior, shopping trends, assortment performance, pricing tactics, and the effectiveness of promotions.
• Execute advanced analyses such as basket composition, price elasticity, A/B testing, customer segmentation, and forecasting performance evaluation.
• Formulate hypotheses and business cases to bolster strategic initiatives and operational decisions.
• Develop executive-ready presentations that convey trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
• Design, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, and self-service reporting solutions.
• Convert business inquiries into analytical frameworks and actionable insights.
• Assist in forecasting, assortment strategy, promotional evaluations, and category reviews.
• Supervise and mentor analysts.
• Establish best practices for data analysis, reporting, and generating insights.
• Keep abreast of retail, consumer, and cannabis industry trends.
• Collaborate with Data & Analytics teams on new data sources, reporting enhancements, and automation prospects.
• Enhance reporting efficiency and scalability through technological and process optimizations.
• At least 3 years of experience in data analytics or insight-focused roles.
• Expertise in SQL, Alteryx, Excel, and data visualization tools like Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, product lifecycle management, pricing strategies, and promotional techniques.
• Capability to conduct advanced analysis and modeling on complex datasets.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
• Flexible working hours; availability for some nights and weekends is required.
• Must successfully complete level 1 and level 2 background checks and drug screening.
• Minimum age of 21 years is required.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and successful completion of an MVR check is necessary.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the work schedule.
• Capability to navigate throughout the facility, including tight spaces.
• Ability to accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information.
• Skill in observing and inspecting details at various distances.
• Proficiency in operating computing devices.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Capability to ascend and descend stools, ladders, and steps, and position oneself at floor level.
• Visual and auditory acuity, with or without aids.
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
