Manager, Data Analytics and Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Lead and nurture a team of data analysts, promoting a culture of curiosity, rigor, and ongoing enhancement.

• Take ownership of the comprehensive strategy, development, and quality assurance of the analytics and reporting functions.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and clinical leadership to convert complex business inquiries into actionable insights.

• Encourage the use of self-service reporting tools, empowering stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions.

• Establish and uphold data governance standards for metrics, dashboards, and reporting pipelines.

• Oversee roadmap planning and prioritization for the analytics team.

• Safeguard compliance and confidentiality of Personal Health Information (PHI) across all reporting platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline along with relevant analytics or data engineering experience, demonstrating leadership capabilities.

• Over 6 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering, including at least 2 years of experience managing or leading a team of analysts or engineers.

• Extensive proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools (we utilize Looker and Metabase).

• Familiarity with dbt, data warehouse architecture, and contemporary analytics engineering methodologies.

• Excellent communication skills — adept at translating data complexities into straightforward narratives for non-technical audiences.

• A proactive mindset focused on developing scalable systems and processes.

• Experience in healthcare analytics or regulated data settings is preferred.

• Enthusiasm for learning about healthcare and the pharmacy sector from a distinctive perspective.
