This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Review and authorize all deliverables prior to distribution to the CFO, department leaders, or external stakeholders.
• Maintain the quality benchmark: ensure zero unexplained discrepancies in any output associated with the Corp FP&A name.
• Responsible for the delivery and quality of our financial review products and the regular interactions with the CFO, ELT, and Investors.
• Annual Operating Plan: oversee the complete AOP process — initiate, establish the timeline, facilitate departmental challenge discussions, and present the consolidated P&L to the CFO.
• Manage the FP&A close calendar and close playbook: define deadlines, enforce compliance, and enhance the timeline each quarter.
• Create and maintain the close calendar from the FP&A perspective, including reporting cadences and standard operating procedures.
• Supervise, develop, and conduct performance reviews for the Senior IC and Junior IC, including weekly one-on-one meetings with each.
• Approve the Finance Engineer's quarterly FP&A automation roadmap.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with all departmental counterparts through consistent, high-quality financial insights.
• Oversee the model integration and data transfer process with the Strategic Finance team.
• 7+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or management consulting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a monthly financial close cycle from start to finish.
• Experience in creating financial materials for board or investor presentations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills — comfortable presenting to the CFO and C-suite executives.
• Background in a high-growth technology or SaaS environment is preferred.
• Experience in managing or mentoring junior analysts.
• Exceptional ability to craft financial narratives — translating numbers into actionable decisions, not just presentations.
• Proficient in Google Sheets / Excel; adept with large, complex models.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
• Structured thinker — capable of designing a process from the ground up, documenting it, and ensuring adherence.
• Commercially curious — comprehends the business model beyond just the P&L.
• General knowledge of, and/or a desire to learn, data science and AI capabilities and their application to finance tasks.
