This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Manage contracts with U.S. government entities, prime government contractors, foreign governments, as well as domestic and international commercial clients.
• Negotiate and oversee various types of contracts.
• Initiate, track, and monitor changes to contracts, deliverables, correspondence, terms and conditions, risks and mitigations, along with associated documentation.
• Administer government, international, and commercial contracts in alignment with company policies, relevant laws, and customer needs.
• Oversee contracts and cultivate business relationships with designated clients.
• Engage in proposal reviews and approvals, providing management with insights on risks and mitigation strategies related to terms and conditions.
• Evaluate contractual terms and conditions, assess proposal risks and impacts, and develop mitigating contract provisions.
• Lead and execute contract negotiation and management.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, service, and legal teams to structure contracts effectively.
• Analyze contracts for adherence to company policies, government specifications, and other stipulations.
• Offer contract status updates, assistance, and business counsel to program management and functional teams.
• Finalize contracts in accordance with established procedures.
• Relay contract information and maintain comprehensive and accurate contract files.
• Act as the primary liaison with both internal and external clients on contractual issues and troubleshoot contractual challenges.
• Operate independently on all but the most intricate matters with considerable discretion.
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related discipline with at least 5 years of experience.
• Preference for candidates with experience in government and commercial contract management.
• U.S. citizenship is required since only U.S. citizens can access information under the program/contract.
• Strong technical and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in negotiating and managing diverse contract types.
• Understanding of contractual terms and conditions, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
• Capability to comply with company policies, applicable laws, government specifications, and customer requirements.
• Ability to collaborate with sales, finance, service, legal, operations, pricing, and program management teams.
• Competence to work independently with significant latitude.
