This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Oversee contracts with U.S. government entities, primary government contractors, foreign governments, as well as domestic and international commercial clients.
• Negotiate and oversee various types of contracts.
• Initiate, monitor, and track changes to contracts, deliverables, correspondence, terms and conditions, risks and mitigations, and associated documentation.
• Administer government, international, and commercial contracts in line with company policies, relevant laws, and customer specifications.
• Foster and manage contracts and business relationships with designated clients.
• Engage in proposal evaluations and endorsements.
• Update management on risks related to terms and conditions and proposed mitigation strategies.
• Assess the acceptability of contractual terms and conditions and evaluate proposal risks and implications.
• Identify key risks and formulate contract terms and conditions to alleviate them.
• Offer alternative terms and conditions to clients.
• Spearhead contract negotiations and management.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, service, and legal teams to structure contracts effectively.
• Examine contracts for adherence to company policies, government specifications, and other requirements.
• Provide contract status updates and support to program managers, functional areas, and management.
• Offer business guidance to LCVSM/program management teams.
• Finalize contracts following applicable procedures.
• Disseminate contract information and maintain comprehensive, accurate contract files.
• Act as the primary liaison with internal and external clients regarding contractual issues.
• Resolve or facilitate the resolution of contractual issues promptly.
• A university degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information under this program or contract.
• Experience in government and commercial contract management is preferred.
• Proficient in negotiating and managing various contract types.
• Understanding of contract terms and conditions, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
• Capability to evaluate proposal risks and their effects.
• Ability to coordinate inputs from sales, finance, service, and legal departments.
• Skill in analyzing contracts for compliance with company policies, government specifications, applicable laws, and customer needs.
• Competence in maintaining thorough and precise contract files.
• Ability to independently handle complex contractual issues.
