Manager – Azure Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conducting data modeling at various levels (conceptual, logical, physical)

• Developing comprehensive data architectures that encompass ingestion, storage, processing, and consumption

• Establishing standards for schemas, naming conventions, versioning, and reuse

• Managing storage and processing across relational databases, big data and analytics platforms, and object storage

• Understanding cloud architecture fundamentals, specifically for Azure/Microsoft Fabric, including cost optimization, scalability patterns, and security and networking basics

• Converting business requirements into structured data formats

• Grasping business processes and operational models

• Articulating intricate architectures to non-technical stakeholders

• Producing clear architecture diagrams and decision-making documents

• Leading design workshops and facilitating tradeoff discussions

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong understanding of the data management sector, including data warehousing, business intelligence, big data, cloud solutions, master data management, data governance, and data quality

• Capacity to quickly research and assimilate new technologies and methodologies

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and projects

• Proficiency in assessing current architectures and documenting challenges along with proposed enhancements

• Expertise in architecting solutions tailored to client needs

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, including experience with presentations and demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills

• Capability to work autonomously on projects as well as collaborate effectively with various teams

• Thrives in a dynamic, agile setting that demands critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills for success
