Maintenance Worker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assist in the upkeep and repair of buildings and grounds within a remote camp environment.

• Conduct preventative maintenance and address issues related to construction and maintenance initiatives.

• Repair and maintain fixtures and hardware, including doors, windows, minor appliances, and office equipment.

• Regularly inspect assigned areas and perform necessary maintenance to ensure facilities are operational and well-maintained.

• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly checklists for scheduled maintenance of buildings and equipment.

• Report significant maintenance requirements and suggest corrective actions.

• Utilize tools and equipment effectively and safely.

• Maintain a welcoming, efficient, and positive customer service attitude towards clients, customers, and colleagues.

• Adhere to Aramark's safety policies and procedures.

• Engage in mandatory departmental and component training.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience and knowledge in remote maintenance work is essential.

• Previous maintenance background is preferred.

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.

• A Driver’s Abstract is required.

• Must successfully clear a criminal background check.

• Ability to adhere to basic safety protocols and precautions due to physical hazards.

• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing.

• May need to wear uniforms and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
