Maintenance Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Conduct both preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities, equipment, and related systems.

• Execute repairs on equipment based on work orders or verbal guidance, documenting the work in line with established policies and procedures.

• Recognize and request parts and components necessary for task completion.

• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and factory representatives for equipment repair and replacement.

• Support contractors and staff with connections and shut-offs for water and fire systems.

• Carry out basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs, which include changing light bulbs, replacing ballasts, and installing light fixtures.

• Engage in carpentry and minor construction tasks, such as drywall installation, wall construction, flooring, ceramic tiling, cabinetry, countertops, shelving, and painting.

• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment by removing debris, lifting or moving heavy materials and equipment, sweeping floors, and organizing materials.

• Maintain a constant state of alertness and operate in a safe manner.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience.

• Availability for full-time hours, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

• Willingness to work some overtime and after-hours shifts as needed.

• Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, carpentry, and minor construction tasks.

• Capability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems and equipment.

• Competence in documenting work orders following established policies and procedures.

• Ability to identify and request necessary parts and components.

• Capacity to safely lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

• Frequent standing and walking, with regular reaching, gripping, keyboard usage, and data entry required.

• No specific professional licenses or certifications are required.
