Maintenance / Reliability Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Analyze complex data from Komatsu truck monitoring and control systems.

• Create professional reports and deliver presentations on findings.

• Develop weekly presentations by merging analytical insights with existing technical knowledge.

• Offer hands-on consulting through remote support for mining operations.

• Leverage expertise in maintenance leadership, reliability management, troubleshooting, and fault analysis to enhance mining assets.

• Collaborate in team meetings and contribute to group-oriented projects.

• Engage directly with mine-site operations instead of working solely in dealerships or service centers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced Maintenance or Reliability Engineer with a solid track record in maintenance leadership, reliability management, and troubleshooting for Komatsu mining assets.

• Extensive knowledge of Komatsu haul trucks, as well as familiarity with Sandvik, Hitachi, and Epiroc equipment.

• Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems, structural components, common failure modes, and operational faults.

• Strong grasp of preventive maintenance practices, OEM recommendations, and challenges related to post-failure repairs.

• Proven experience in leadership roles regarding the maintenance of Komatsu trucks, Sandvik, Hitachi, or Epiroc vehicles.

• Profound technical expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, and operational systems.

• Demonstrated hands-on skills in troubleshooting and fault analysis.

• Knowledge of OEM specifications and field-applied maintenance practices.

• Previous experience on mining sites is mandatory.

• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) is mandatory.

• Strong technical English skills for reading manuals, composing reports, and documenting findings.

• Mechanical Engineering background is an advantage.

• Mandatory proficiency in computer environments and office applications.

• Must be available for team meetings, presenting findings, and engaging in collaborative thinking.
