📋 Description

• Exciting contract opportunity for a Mainframe Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) lasting 12 months.

⛳️ Requirements

• Looking for a Mainframe Security SME to assist with:

• Project: Transition from Broadcom ACF2 to RACF.

• - Oversee the complete migration process from ACF2 to RACF, encompassing planning, design, testing, cutover, and stabilization.

• - Create and uphold the migration roadmap, timelines, and strategies for risk mitigation.

• - Perform an in-depth analysis of current ACF2 rules, resource definitions, and access models to translate them into corresponding RACF equivalents.

• - Develop automated or semi-automated procedures to enhance the conversion and validation processes.

• Technical Engineering & Architecture

• - Design the RACF class structures, groupings, profiles, and naming conventions in accordance with enterprise security policies.

• - Apply best practices for RACF administration, including role-based access, dataset protection, digital certificates, and integration of password/MFA.

• - Configure and optimize z/OS security components such as ICSF, PKI, SAF exits, and SMF logging.

• - Create scripts, tools, and utilities to aid RACF administration and reporting.

• Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

• - Ensure that the RACF implementation complies with regulatory standards (SOX, PCI, HIPAA, etc.).

• - Collaborate with audit teams to supply evidence, reporting, and guidance for remediation.

• - Develop RACF operational procedures, access request workflows, and continuous governance models.
