Mainframe Licensing Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Accountable for shaping and influencing robust, transparent customer contracts.

• Ensuring that customers utilize the appropriate licensing model.

• Collaborate with mainframe leadership, sales teams, legal, compliance, and customers.

• Comprehend the business landscape and propose suitable license models, Terms & Conditions, and pricing structures.

• Partner with Mainframe Business Specialists and clients to deliver presentations on licensing models.

• Offer training and guidance on the latest mainframe positions and the mechanics of licensing programs.

• Work with colleagues to assess and review licensing and pricing standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with over 5 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with more than 3 years of relevant experience.

• Background in software licensing and pricing.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and keen attention to detail.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a larger team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Suite.

• Patience and emotional intelligence are essential.

• A positive demeanor and resilience in the face of challenges.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and effectively communicate changes in priority, delays, or obstacles.

• Familiarity with software contracts, including terms and conditions.

• Knowledge of telemetry and license management reporting tools, including IBM ISV SCRT Reports.

• Quick adaptability to learn a diverse range of technical and non-technical skills.
